Welcome

Welcome to Guardexa.

Guardexa is an Android anti-theft and intrusion detection app designed to help you detect failed unlock attempts and capture related evidence, depending on the permissions and settings you enable.

By using Guardexa, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Use of the App

You may use Guardexa only for lawful purposes and only on devices you own or are authorized to protect.

You are responsible for how you configure and use the app, including camera, microphone, location, email alerts, Device Administrator access, and stealth/disguise features.

You must not use Guardexa to monitor, record, track, or collect information from another person's device without proper authorization.

2. Permissions and Device Access

Guardexa may request permissions such as camera, microphone, location, notifications, background operation, Gmail sending access, and Device Administrator access.

These permissions are used only to provide the app's protection, capture, alert, and testing features.

Some features may not work correctly if required permissions are denied or disabled.

3. Intrusion Evidence

Guardexa may capture photos, videos, audio, and location information when a failed unlock attempt or protection event is detected.

You are responsible for reviewing, deleting, sharing, or managing any evidence stored on your device.

Guardexa does not guarantee that every failed unlock attempt will be captured, detected, or reported.

4. Email Alerts

If you enable Gmail email alerts, Guardexa may send alert emails using your connected Google account.

Guardexa does not read, modify, or delete your emails.

You are responsible for ensuring that email alerts are configured correctly.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Guardexa may offer optional paid features through Google Play Billing, managed with RevenueCat.

Payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing issues are handled by Google Play according to Google Play's policies.

6. No Guarantee

Guardexa is provided to help improve awareness and device protection, but it does not guarantee theft prevention, device recovery, intruder identification, or uninterrupted operation.

Device settings, Android restrictions, permissions, battery optimization, hardware limitations, and third-party services may affect how the app works.

7. User Responsibility

You agree to use Guardexa responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws.

You are responsible for any consequences resulting from misuse of the app.

8. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update Guardexa or these Terms from time to time.

If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using Guardexa at any time by uninstalling the app.

We may restrict or discontinue access to the app or certain features if required for security, legal, technical, or business reasons.
